Manny Pacquiao Gives Jimmy Kimmel 'Pac Man' Swag, Talks Meeting Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Manny Pacquiao Talks Meeting Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Jimmy Kimmel Live
Manny
Pacquiao’s training regimen for his May 2 bout with Floyd Mayweather
Jr. — perhaps this year’s most anticipated sporting event — included a
stop by Jimmy Kimmel Live! The 36-year-old Filipino boxer came
bearing gifts: he presented Kimmel with a “Pacman” baseball hat, as well
as a stocking cap emblazoned with the logo for the upcoming fight.
Kimmel took a few moments to review the tortured history behind this
oft-delayed face-off, which finally came to pass after the combatants
met each other on neutral ground at a Miami Heat basketball game. “That
meeting helped a lot,” Pacquiao confirmed, adding that he and Mayweather
exchanged phone numbers and later met at his hotel to talk. This
naturally set off Kimmel’s innuendo alert. “I thought there was supposed
to be no sex before a fight!” the host joked, cracking Pacquiao up.
That’s probably a question better suited for Pacquiao’s trainer.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m.
