New food trend: Bacon roses are now a thing
Bacon flowers have officially been created.
Bouquets of the pork flower have gone on sale at the Amazeballz
bakery in Texas after the owner, Caren Browning, was inundated with
demands to make them.
The bacon roses arrive in a vacuum sealed pack and can last up to two weeks, however once they have been opened the novelty flowers should be eaten within 24 hours.
And for those who enjoy the smell of bacon that much, they can also be displayed in a room to let off the sumptuous scent.
Caren – who has unofficially been making the bacon roses for four years – says she originally got the idea from her father.
